Cocooned in fuzzy, tonal apparel, Simonne Dom exuded a comfy sophistication as we crossed paths within the Marylebone section of London on a Saturday in March. Her delicate clothes in shades of beige embodied the two-word description she gave for her model: “informal stylish.”
Ms. Dom, 70, who lives in Belgium, was visiting London with buddies for her birthday, an event she had deliberate to have fun by doing a number of procuring. Once we met, she and her buddies had simply completed lunch at Carlotta, an Italian restaurant, and had been strolling to the division retailer Liberty to browse its collection of luxurious trend, house items and wonder merchandise.
