Netflix has introduced its subsequent high-profile Korean drama collection, Scandals, an adaptation of the 2003 movie Untold Scandal, which reimagines the basic French novel Harmful Liaisons in Korea’s Joseon period.

The present boasts a star-studded solid, together with Son Ye-jin, Ji Chang-wook, and Nana, and has already begun filming in Seoul. 

Directed by Jung Ji-woo, Scandals revolves round a daring love sport between high-born Girl Cho (Son) and playboy Cho Received (Ji), with younger widow Hui-yeon (Nana) caught within the center.

In line with Netflix, Scandals “brings to life a world the place love and temptation had been taboo” and depicts characters who problem societal norms. The collection guarantees to be a luxurious recreation of Korea’s Joseon period.

Son’s character, Girl Cho, is described as a “strategist” and “a girl of expertise and appeal who goes in opposition to the constraints positioned on ladies of her time.” 

Ji’s character, Cho Received, is a “fascinating” pleasure-seeker who would not belief love, whereas Nana’s character, Hui-yeon, is a widow conflicted by complicated feelings and attraction.

No launch date has been introduced, however Scandals is predicted to premiere later this 12 months.
