Jennifer Hudson expressed her apology for lacking the opening night time of Smash on Broadway, after the viewers have been left upset.

The American singer, who produced the musical drama alongside Robert Greenblatt, Neil Meron, and others, revealed the rationale for her absence at The Imperial Theatre on Thursday, April 10.

Taking to Instagram, the 43-year-old actress shared a video from the set of The Jennifer Hudson Present, explaining that she was busy filming an episode of her discuss present in Los Angeles.

Within the clip she requested her studio viewers, “Anyone used to observe the TV present Smash?”

Jennifer continued, “I’m positive you guys have been listening to the thrill. It has ton of your favorite songs from the present, plus some nice surprises that I do know you’re going to like.”

Reflecting on lacking the occasion, she added, “Now as we all know, I can’t be two locations at one time. I gotta be right here with y’all, so I’m going to overlook opening night time tonight, however I hope everybody enjoys the present.”

The Respect actress expressed her love for the forged, saying, “However we get to ship them love from the completely satisfied place. I’m sending the forged and the crew a lot love. We’re there in spirit and cheering you on from the completely satisfied place.”

Gushing with delight, the Highlight hitmaker additional added, “Oh my goodness, and I’m so pleased with this manufacturing. I can’t look forward to y’all to see it. I can’t wait to get there.”

Smash, the two-season American musical drama, was impressed by the lifetime of Marilyn Monroe.
