Ben Affleck is providing an inside glimpse into his parenthood journey with Jennifer Garner as he makes a heartfelt confession about being ‘current’ for his children all these years.
Throughout an unique interview with GQ Journal, the 52-year-old actor and filmmaker opened up about how his demanding profession has persistently taken a toll on his household life, usually retaining him from being current for his kids.
He advised the outlet, “It’s so consuming. The one remorse I’ve about all the films that I’ve directed is the period of time it’s taken me away from my children.”
Expressing his indefinite love for filmmaking, the Good Will Searching star added, “I like making artwork. I liked making The City, however I used to be away from my children for lengthy intervals of time. There’s little chunks that I missed and that doesn’t really feel good.
“I acknowledged that a very powerful factor to me was each being a father or mother and being current, and that for my very own sake, going off to Austin or Louisiana or someplace to do some motion pictures, I used to be actually lacking time I may by no means get again.”
